So how about you get off your duff and work hard enough to earn the money needed to buy health insurance, or get a job with health insurance?

No one wants you to get public health insurance. It is a public OPTION, did you miss that one.

Because the Democrats’ thought has always been: If you can’t raise the rest of them up, pull everyone else down to the same crappy level.

The military uses the same insurance as the public insurance that the governmen is offering. Nothing crappy about that.

The other side of that coin, is that without Public School, poor kids would get NO education and NO teachers.

Much like the poor get from our current health system.

It’s not about stopping snobbery (which I thought liberals were supposed to own the market on anyway, right?), it’s about getting people what they need. The Private school kids may get a better education than the public school kids, but the public school kids DO at least learn how to read and add. Short answer; it’s better than nothing.

Ok, let’s compare … most the public schools in Europe are better than most of the private schools in the US …

It’s not because a specific system doesn’t really work that the whole concept needs to be thrown away. If we come up with the right way to organize universal health care, there shouldn’t be any doubt that it is the right thing to do.

Now, take the French universal health care and compare it to the US private health care … try not to be biased and see how shitty our system really is … is that what you want for the US?

How do you explain that kids under age 5 have a better chance of survival in Slovenia than they do in the US? Is that what you call great????

In the same system private solutions outperform public solutions in just about every case where there is a comparision. Only an idiot would start with a public solution given that information. How about coming up with a “right way” so organize private health care instead since that would be a logical instead of emotional response.

Your faith in ideology is as silly as those based on religion. Try looking at facts and logic for solutions instead of ideology. Considering that our current systems has provided us with the best health care in the world, it would be logical that coupling that with tweaking health insurance would be the superior solution.
